ラウンちゃんこと Rán Flygenring 氏のライブペインティングイベントが行われました
ラウンちゃんは今回 大阪万博のために来日。
万博での講演会や代官山Ｔサイトでの講演会の合間をぬって
多忙の中 vandaka plants GALLERY TOKYO に遊びに来てくれました
ラウンちゃんは vandaka plants のオリジナルTシャツなどのイラストでもおなじみ
アイスランドを代表するイラストレータ―であり、作家でもあります。

We would like to introduce our new item
Colorful ecobags with cute illustration drawn by Icelandic artist Rán Flygenring.
She visited our Tokyo store and did a live painting event during her visit to Japan to perform at the Expo.
We release this ecobag to commemorate this event.
Platyceriums (known as staghorn ferns) grow on trees and live in symbiosis with them.
This illustration of the ecosystem in which they live side by side conveys the message that “Caring is sharing.”
Rán’s work ranges from illustration to book writing, and focuses mainly on nature and environmental issues.
By sharing not only material things but also spiritual things, this eco-bag is rooted in her philosophy of building better relationships and improving society as a whole.
